HOW IS IT TRANSMITTED?
It can be passed if you are sexually active with a person who has this infection. You can be re-infected if exposed to the bacteria again.This bacteria can be passed to infants (sometimes they may go blind).
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
Symptoms may include burning when you urinate, discharge from penis or vagina. person may be re-infected if exposed to this bacteria again. Can lead to infertility. (silent sterlizers)
WHAT IS IT? CAN IT BE TREATED?
Gonorrhea can grow easily in the warm, moist areas. The bacteria can also grow in the mouth, throat, eyes, and anas. This bacteria can be passed to infants (sometimes they may go blind). You can also take antibiotics.
